It took me quite a while to sit down and start writing on this little project. Some say that late is better than never; I say things should be done when you have the inspiration, eventhough there is a possibility that you will drop things the moment next to it because all your insipiration is gone or distracted by something else.
Because I do not have a most favorite singer or band, because I do not have a favorite type of music to begin with, people always get stupefied to the variety of music I listen to. Who knows me will not be surprised to see anime openings and endings saved in my computer, and they will not be surprised either if they see a song of Linkin Park next to a song of Blue, which is right after Moxart's piece in my playlist. I like collecting songs I like, or songs of any artist I like. When I get obsessed with an artist I will obviously download all his discography, listen to it for three days until I learn all lyrics, and then move to the next artist. What I am trying to say is that I do not know myself the trend of how my music playlist goes on, so by doing this little experiment I hope I can have a more clear picture which I can remember of this year as well as share with you the music I like.
Anyways, enough with presentations and iddle talk. Today's song comes from the Korean drama "Faith". It is titled "I Am Woodalchi" of Oh
Joon Sung (오준성). Click on the title song to get directed to the youtube video. I recently found this drama and found it interesting, and what I liked the most was the music. The actors of the drama are top actors and I truly like them. Their acting would have come across stronger if the characters were designed differently, but I think they still did an excellent job at conveying the characteristics of their personas.
Other than that, the story itself made my enough curious to look into the real facts and the real historical figures matched with the ones of the story. Obviously, not all facts can correspond since this is the story of a young lady of 2013 being dragged into 1336. It was nice to actually read that there is indeed a song for the main character in Korea. Born into the presitigous noble family of Choe, as the fifth descendant of Choe Yoo chung, the Grand Scholar of Jibheyonjeon, the royal Academy ko:집현전, and the son of Choe Won Jik, he was raised in a strict austere lifestyle, befitting a noble aristocratic family of Korea. He paid little heed to his own clothes and meals, and eschewed fine garments or other comforts even when he became famous and could easily have enjoyed them. He disliked men who desired expensive articles, and he viewed simplicity as a virtue. His motto, left to him by his father, Choe won Jik was "View and treat gold as if they were a mere rocks".
This is also all for today! Hope you enjoyed the facts and the song!
