January 31, 2014

The one who wears the crown, must bear its weight.

That is the famous phrase that Kim Tan repeats and teaches us in the "Heirs". I have been watching different shows recently and all of them somewhat carry the same concept. It is maybe so used in series and movies because it is indeed how it revolves in real life as well.

The phrase that preceded it might be "With greater power, comes greater responsability" that our beloved Spiderman kept as a motive to his life after his uncle died.

So indeed, I have been thinking more about the meaning of the phrase, and it really is true. No matter how much I think about it, and no matter how much I think of a counter argument, there is really none. Be it at home, at school, or even in your little friends' circle, everything has a rule to its preservance. Every rule leads to somekind of hierarchy. Hierarchy means responsability. Responsabilities are something that you can never avoid.

Be it the crown of love, fame, power, it all has weight; be it in your heart or your shoulders. This year's resolution is to not complain so today I will try not to complain of the weights that bring down the curves of the lips and end it by posting the song of the day. The song of today is an OST of "Heirs".
